and don't get paid for extra hours. lol, I'd still let a pro do my tint. : One slight imperfection and you're paying $65 again.. and again... and again. I like to look at things in hourly wage value. If it's something you DON'T REALLY look forward to and enjoy, it's in the work catagory. So, if you make $30 an hour @ work and the tinting place makes less per hour for a 2 hour job... a job that guaranteed or replaced... by all means, let the pro do it. It'd cost you more to do it yourself even if doing it right the 1st time. You could stay @ work 2 hours extra while they tint it and end up with a warrantied/guaranteed perfectly tinted car. With the overtime you make $45 an hour and after paying the tint place still had $40 in your pocket. If I remember right, you can get a full Z32 tint job for $120 or under out the door with a 10+ year guarantee. So, if you're worth $30+ an hour(just an example, some more, some less), why take a pay cut? At least spend the time doing something you enjoy. I don't associate this with mods or home improvement. I'd rather do them myself because I don't trust other people's quality of workmanship. Oh, and if you enjoy tinting... that's strange, but more power to ya.
